  1. Studying in a classroom is definitely useful but at the end of the day, it all comes to you. If you have the discipline you can study by yourself just fine and you will also save on the expenses that come with paying for a tutor. However, it is not a bad idea to have other people to interact with you in the language you are trying to learn.
  2. I would also go with Spanish because is spoken in more countries! In addition, Spain is a great country and it would be great to visit it while you know the language!
  3. My favorite word is not a word is a phrase "Comme ci Comme ca" which is in French and it means "so so" I think that it sounds really nice! Cyprus had a song with this title in Eurovision!
  4. Intelligence surely plays a big role when it comes to learning a new language although, I think that it is all about discipline at the end of the day. You must be willing to learn the language and above all, you must be excited about it!
  5. I agree that it depends on your native language as well as your preference in a culture. However, I believe that Italian is an objectively easy to learn language.
  6. Seems like a great site! I would also suggest a brilliant app for smartphones called Memrise, it has several languages to choose from! Check it out.
  7. Hello everyone, I am really excited to be on this forum! I am a Greek university student that tries to learn some Italian . I hope that we are going to have the opportunity to help each other achieve our goals! I will see you around! Αντίο
