## How to use the rapper name generator

1. Type your **name**, your **initials** (like J.T.) or a single **letter** into the box, or leave it empty for completely new names.

The generator works in your browser and never repeats a name during a visit, so every press brings new ideas. It mixes 43 prefixes, 599 words sorted by style and 45 endings (687 parts in all), plus separate word lists for producers, groups, mixtapes and pets. Every word was chosen by hand and kept clean, so the names work for a school talent show as well as for a real stage. The generator also checks each result against a list of famous stage names and skips any name that already belongs to a well-known artist.

## What’s my rap name?

Type your first name, or your first and last name, and press Generate. The first result is worked out from the letters of your name and your settings, so it stays the same every time you type the same name: that is **your rap name**. The rest of the list gives you more options built on your name: a prefix in front (Young Jordan), your name with a strong ending, an alliterating word (Jazzy Jordan), your initials, or a stage spelling of your name.
