My friend and I are writing a research paper for school, and we'd love it if you could fill out this short survey to help us with that~
Anyone learning German whose original language is a European language would be great, especially speakers of the languages Russian, Romanian or English!
My name is Diana. I study at Orenburg State University (Russia). I'm writing a paper, the aim is to find out how people of different nations behave in various situations and to compare their possible actions with the Russians' ones.
I would greatly appreciate if you could spend 15 minutes to answer this form.

Hello Linguaholics! My name's Mitchell. I speak US English, Latin American Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese. In addition to being a fellow linguaholic, I also am very interested in product design and educational solutions.
I'm in the process of completing a UX Design and Research Certification and currently am conducting a survey for my capstone project focused on designing a solution to make the foreign language learning experience more engaging and effective.
If you have 1-2 minutes to spare, it would be greatly appreciated if you could take the below screener survey that anyone, regardless of how extensive or traditional your foreign language learning experiences, can complete to help guide this project that I'm very passionate about.
All of your answers will remain completely confidential and you do not need to participate beyond this survey if you don't want to.
Note - Please answer questions based on the foreign language that you've been studying longest, whether or not that is Spanish or another language.
Thank you so much for your help!
Hi, I probably have a C1 level & want to do a Proficiency C2 test. Therefore I'd like to do a course for about 2 months in an Asian country. I do speak English daily since years, read books, watch movies & use google in English.
My budget isn't particularly low but neither high. I can't or won't afford expensive classes in Great Britain, North America or Oceania. I traveled a lot in the last years & am able to feel at home in many places. I can imagine doing a course in Thailand, India, Vietnam or even in the Philippines (well, probably the least favourite as I really don't like the food in the Philippines but on the other hand it might be better as the locals speak English...)
Any recommendations? It could be either a language school with group courses or a privat teacher which knows the requirements of the CPE test & can help me filling the gaps & pointing me in the right direction to pass the test... I estimate that 8 weeks of two private lessons per week or 8 weeks of 4 group lessons per week will be enough if I study hard beside classes...
Has anybody done the same?
I am currently conducting research on effective second language teaching. I would highly appreciate your input on the subject through this survey.
All responses are anonymous.
Please let me know if you have any further questions or would be interested in reading/discussing the paper once published.
