Welcome.

From the little bit of Spanish I tried to learn (and failed), I noticed that Spanish and English share a lot of words and grammar structure, so learning those might be very easy for you.
However, unlike Spanish, English has this weird phenomeon that each letter can have 2 million different ways of pronouncing it, so often you'd not know how to pronounce a word until you've heard it from a native speaker at least once.

Oh by the way, you might already have a language partner available.
Well 2 people, but it seems like you already found 1 of them.
