Filipino language may not be popular as other languages such as Chinese, Spanish, German, English etcs. but Philippines because of its beautiful spots, this country is one of the favorite destinations in Asia. That is why I am wondering if anybody here has/had interest in learning the language of this country which is Filipino.

Anyone? And if yes, why do/did you have an interest to learn the language?

Improve your knowledge of any language online

I got lots of Filipino friends working outside of the Philippines. Filipinos are warm and friendly people so it would not be a surprise if they make a lot of friends wherever they may be. Some of these friends are teaching their foreign friends the pinoy language and some of them are quite fluent by now.

I am currently living with my in-laws, and my mother-in-law is Filipino She speaks Tagalog all the time on the phone to her friends and family and while I don't understand much, it is fun to listen to! It is such an energetic language when spoken. (My husband was born and raised in Canada so he is not fluent).

I never considered Tagalog before marrying- always assumed if I picked a language from anywhere in Asia it would be Japanese - but it is hard to pass up the opportunity have a fluent language partner in the same house. I have picked up on certain words and phrases and would love to learn more. She encourages me to learn, and often emphasizes how Tagalog is pronounced the way it is spelled (in regards to English phonetics). After learning the whacky spellings and pronunciations of Irish, that sort of easy introduction is very welcome!

Most of my Filipino friends know English pretty well and I don't plan to travel to Phillipines by myself. I am more focused on German, Hungarian and to improve my English skills rather than on learning a language that would bring me no use on the short term.

There's not much interest for foreigners to learn the Filipino language because most Filipinos can speak and understand English. In addition, even if they do learn Filipino, foreigners will find that although it is the national language, there are many other dialects being used by natives in other parts of the country. Filipino is simple and easy to learn though.

Hello! I am Vincent. I had a hard time learning Italian. But I found a learning method that changed my life! I'm here to share this with you guys so you can use the same method as I did =)

Studies show that 95% of those who learn a language during an extended stay in a foreign country can speak the language in a much better way than those who do not immerse themselves in the new language. For most people, the easiest and most effective way to learn a new language is to speak a lot. In this way, new neuronal pathways and connections are formed in your brain. Very soon you will be able to use the new skills confidently. We have understood this principle and developed a new language learning program that allows you to speak your new language from day one, whether at home or on the go. Try it yourself, and you will see how much easier language learning is than with traditional language course.

The platform that comes to my mind when we talk about English fluency application is ENGVARTA & DUOLINGO. There are a large number of platforms that are there today. But I would suggest to you something that I’ve personally used and turned out to be effective.
After using this app, one thing that I realized was “ I knew how to speak, but hesitated and never spoke.”
What if I say, you have 15 minutes and the only thing you have to do is speak in English on a topic. You will hesitate. You will find a lack of words.
English experts at Engvarta pushes you to the extent where there is no option left but only to Speak in English. They correct us wherever we make any mistake.
      What do you get :
One to one conversation with English experts. Recording for correcting mistakes. Free vocabulary in your mails daily. A topic of your interest that you can speak on. The best part about it is, you can stay in your own comfort of your house and without giving too many details about yourself. You connect with the Expert.
      The next app is Duolingo
Duolingo is one free application where you can learn English. It will help you with vocabulary and pronunciation. It is very easy to use and helps you to test yourself. It also gives the pictorial form of words.
