My Opinion of Best Language Learning App!

Recommended Posts

Hello!

I have a free app to recommend to you all who do not know of it. It's name, you ask? It's Duolingo! This app sends notifications reminding you to continue learning after a day, as well as offering many languages to learn (which new ones get added every so often)! I have been using it for my Swedish and French, and I'm not doing bad with it. Consider using Duolingo for your next language!

This app also offers customization options for the owl (it's mascot), which can be bought using 'Lingots" from completing lessons, another way to usher you into learning languages.

Thanks for the advice :D. I think everyone knows about Duolingo by now since it's very popular on the play store and on the app store too I bet. I haven't tried it in a long time but I bet its improved so much by now. I heard it's better on the PC so I might check it out later.

Yes, most of us here are familiar with Duolingo.

It's great to know it is serving you well on your language learning journey. Let us know how it goes in the long run.

I had tried it sometimes back when I was learning French. It was not easy to learn a new language. luckily I managed to work in a factory where there were more French speaking employees who helped me with grammar. It is a good app for learning new languages!

I came to know about Duolingo on this forum, however, I am yet to try this app.I have not even checked this out. Is this an app to be used on a smartphone? Is this available for Android market? If the answer is yes,  I may look for this app on Google Play. Since this is free, I don't see any harm in trying this out. I want to brush up my English and learn French. Hopefully, this app will be useful for me.

Our server also has a role system, so you won't be lost through every language's channel, you'll only see those which you need. We plan to have some events from time to time and try to grow as a community!

      What is Lingodeer?
Many of you might be familiar with the app called "Duolingo." Lingodeer is very similar, but alongside the same style of gamified lessons that Duolingo provides: Lingodeer offers professionally made grammar notes on every single skill, features full native audio recordings on every word and sentence, has built in grammar review features, has a global leaderboard (And friends leaderboard) for competition, features video stories at the end of every skill, has built in pronunciation practice (Sentence shadowing capabilities), and features 10 languages to learn (with Italian on the way) taught in 13 languages. The app is available on iOS and Android.

If anyone has any questions feel free to ask me (I run their online forums as volunteer work and have followed the app since it was released, I have also completed the first half of Japanese and Korean on the app).

      Hi everyone!
I am posting here because I would like to learn languages. Mainly European languages. I was wondering if maybe you could give me tips on how to decide on which European language I should go for. I have personal interest in the following languages: Spanish, French, Dutch, German, Greek. But if you suggest other European languages for my consideration, I'll be happy. Please, don't post hateful comments. Thank you.
