Bilingual stories to learn a language

Recommended Posts

You might want to try fluentpad.com where you practice French by reading books in French and clicking for translations whenever you need it. It's not for children but rather for adolescents or adults though.

Yes, I do. It's a great tool to improve your vocabulary and a good way to "feel" the spirit of a language by comparing forms of expression. But you have to read books at your present level!

This app could be useful.

I often have questions about French usage that can't be solved by a dictionary, so I have been relying on Linguee quite a lot.
For each word or phrase you can get a long list of real-world usages pulled from the Web.
It covers many languages, though I can only vouch for the French content as I haven't used it for any other languages so far.

http://mawercer.de/spell is an early attempt to train spelling in various languages.
English, German, bengali, and many more coming soon -> write to support to have some added.
It remembers which words you got right doesn't ask multiple times about the same word.
You can use it from mobile phone.
      Feedback welcome
