Cantonese and Mandarin

Recommended Posts

I believe that there was also another thread about Cantonese and Mandarin. You should have checked it out to see if it answered any of your questions before making this thread.

If you still have questions after reading the thread, feel free to reiterate them again :).

I personally think Cantonese and Mandarin are the same. The only difference is that they are two separate dialogues, which it depends on where you live. I grew up speaking Cantonese, which wasn't that difficult for me. I learned Mandarin when I was 3 years old, which I think it was more difficult to learn than Cantonese. I also think Mandarin is harder to speak than Cantonese, but then again Cantonese is the language in which I grew up with.
