For me, it's reading. This usually happens when it comes to internet comments and stuff like that, probably because they use a more informal tone? I'm not sure why. xD

Only all the time, lol. There are some cases in which I get so desperate I google something like "what is the word that's like when you ___", it's really frustrating sometimes. xD

Tagalog was my second language - I've been learning it since preschool, and it was seriously one of the hardest languages ever. xD I started Dutch when I was 11, and German at around 10. I also recall attempting to learn Japanese at 6, but since the internet wasn't really big in our area at the time I only had a Japanese dictionary to help me. xD;

Imo music is a helpful way for one to learn a language. Foreign dubs of Disney songs are usually the kinds of music that help me learn another language - it played a big role when I was learning both Dutch and German.

Hello! I'm a 13 year old from the Philippines, and I've been learning my favorite language, Dutch, since mid 2012. Thanks to my knowledge in Dutch and my previous attempts of learning, I can say that I can also handle a very basic conversation in German. I can also speak in little French, Japanese and Spanish. My mother tongue is English, and I can also speak Tagalog. Aside from Dutch and German, I'd like to learn a Slavic or a Romance language someday. Italian, Czech and Icelandic are languages that interest me. Middle Eastern and Asian languages aren't high in my priority list, but they are really interesting to hear.
