Hello guys! I've tried everything to find this app so you are my last hope! Around 2 years ago I found a website that was pretty much like Lingua.ly, developed by a Lithuanian guy, the logo was a mouth with its tongue sticking out. You would start with like 2 sentences and try to understand what was written by selecting the words you understand and it would start giving you longer and longer texts with those words and a few more for you to learn! It was really helpful and interesting! Does anyone know what I'm talking about or has even used it? Do you guys know any similar option that is free? Thank you!

Google Translate struggles to translate a sentence as simple as "how are you" from English to Norwegian or vice-versa.

I started learning Norwegian this week and I'm loving it. The language resembles a lot to English in many situations and I love the way it sounds. It took me a few weeks to decide whether I would be learning Norwegian, Swedish or Danish but after searching around the internet I found out that those who speak Norwegian understand Swedish and Danish better than the opposite situations. Written Norwegian is really similar to written Danish, the pronunciation of the words is quite different though. I'm loving it so far, I can already introduce myself and count to thirty (well enough for just 2 days of learning)! Who's also interested in learning Norwegian? Greetings Linguaholic! My name is Gonçalo and I'm from Porto, Portugal! My mother tongue is, of course, Portuguese. I can speak English fluently and I'm in advanced level of Spanish (well I can speak it but the funny thing is that I can't write it - probably because I live 1 hour away from Spain and I'm just so used to listen to Spanish).
