I'd have to say I find the British accent pretty interesting, it's totally different then ours here in North America. What intrigues me more then their accent is the fact there is a whole other side of the world that speaks a different language then us and have different slang version's like us, it's almost like travelling to a new planet!

Like the original poster said, I also have learnt most of my English through movies and tv shows. I was born french here in Ontario Canada and I eventually moved in with my grandparents. Although, my grandpa only spoke english so I learnt pretty quick!

Hey everyone, I wanted to join the forum because I have always had a passion to learn new languages. I currently only know french and English but I am very interested in learning Spanish. I am hoping to find other people who share the same interests with me!
What is the most popular language in Canada?

Hello! I am born and raised Canadian. I am from Ontario which is very diverse in culture and I can positively say that french should be the language you should study. Although as mentioned in the post above, Canada is mostly English although I live in Ottawa which is right near the border of Quebec and everything here/in Canada is translated in french, not Spanish like in the states. Also, this is coming from someone who's mother language is french!
