Hola! Estoy aprendiendo Español porque mi esposo es de Colombia. I am a native English speaker who is focusing on becoming fluent in Spanish. My husband is Colombian and fluent in Spanish, but he is a horribly impatient teacher. I am using textbooks, language apps, and computer programs. I am also listening to music, watching movies, and reading children's books all in Spanish. I can understand more than I used to but my actual communication ability is poor. I am hoping to work on my communication skills through these forums and continue going though my books and using the other Spanish learning resources I have accumulated. :grin:
