I am learning a new (or 2 new) language-s right now for the challenge. I guess I just want to prove to myself that I can do it. I don't know if this will be enough motivation for me in the future though, but I've proven to be quite good at picking up languages (basing from past language classes I took in the past, I just didn't continue it then though). Also, for Japanese, I really like Japanese literature, stories and media and would like to read some of it in the original.

Hello everyone! My name is Vanessa and I am from the Philippines. I am starting my study in German and Japanese, from the beginner level and I also hope to improve my English, along the way. As studying languages can be quite isolating, I decided to sign up here in order to meet some people who are in the same boat as I am and not feel so alone, hehe. I've started on the language learning road several times before and each time have stopped after going through a few lessons. Hopefully, this time will prove to be different. That's it.
