I don't mean that literally of course, but do you feel... different when you speak a foreign language? I've always felt that speaking another language slightly changed my personality - and mood. For some reason Spanish has an uplifting effect whenever I'm feeling down. When I speak English, I'm more self-confident than usual. I tend to me more critical towards everything when I speak French And I've just found out that actually, it's not just my impression - research seems to prove those things!
