Rory
Someone once told me there is a Spanish idiom that can translated as 'Walk through the village and kiss the statue.' I believe the scenario is a village with a statue in the centre of the village square. The same person explained that this idiom means to go to the heart of the matter, to seize an opportunity. However I cannot find this idiom and was wondering if anyone in this forum was familiar with the idiom. The person who told me the idiom was not Spanish. Thanks in advance for any help with.
