Hello!

I am new here and hope that my thread is okay to post about Chinese questions. I like to know about the following questions. I can only ask in pinyin because i tried various chinese softwares but can't seem to get it working on my pc.

1) What is the difference between ti2 and wen4ti2? From my understanding, wenti is a general question and whereas ti is used to refer to homework or exercises correct? if you are doing your homework, you would say something like:

wo you hen duo ti yao wen wo de laoshi

2) man4zou3 and bao3zhong4 both mean farewell or goodbye when a friend is leaving?

3) I also have heard of a grammar rule called the reduplication of adjectives such as saying chang chang de, bai bai de etc.... can you say.. man man de zou = man4dian3 zou = walk slower?
