What is the most complex or impressive 3D-printed object from a movie or game you’ve made so far, and what challenges did you face during the printing or finishing process?

One of the most complex 3D-printed objects I’ve ever tackled was a highly detailed Tie Avenger from Star Wars, and it was both exhilarating and frustrating at the same time. The model had incredibly fine panel lines and sharp angles, which made supports and orientation a real challenge during printing, and getting the edges crisp without breaking anything required multiple test prints. What really helped was starting with a high-quality 3d model file, where the STL was already optimized for printing, saving a lot of troubleshooting. Post-processing was another hurdle—the sanding, filling, and painting had to be precise to maintain the intricate design. Seeing the final piece come together, perfectly balanced between accuracy and durability, was such a rewarding experience, and it taught me a lot about patience and workflow when working with game or movie replicas.
