Is it difficult to register a company in Latvia? What steps should I take, and how long does it take?

My partner and I were setting up a Latvian dropshipping company. I was in Kyiv, he was in Yerevan. We wanted to do everything remotely and without a notary. We spent half a day googling until we landed on the company formation Latvia page—it explained everything step by step: passport, articles of association, consent to a legal address, and everything. We even downloaded a template of the articles of association. Four days later, we received an extract from the register and opened an LHV account online. Honestly, without this article, we would have struggled for another week and paid intermediaries through the roof.
