Yrtrm Posted 3 hours ago Report Posted 3 hours ago My alma mater is currently sitting way lower than I expected in the national NIL rankings. It’s kind of embarrassing seeing our rivals so far ahead of us. Does anyone know how these rankings are actually calculated? Is it just about the total money, or does the number of active fans matter too? How can we as regular fans help our school climb the leaderboard without having to be millionaires? Quote
Cani Posted 2 hours ago Report Posted 2 hours ago It’s definitely frustrating when you see your team lagging behind, but the good news is that these rankings are usually based on collective effort. On platforms like https://rallyfuel.com/schools, it is not just about one big donor - it’s about the "Active Fans" count. Even small contributions help boost the "Fan Power" of the university. I’ve been trying to get my alumni group to start "fueling" together because that’s how you actually move the needle. The system there is pretty cool because it tracks "Fire Up" activity, so every time someone interacts, the school gets a boost. My advice is to just get in there and start small. The rankings update live, so you can actually see the impact of your support almost immediately. It’s way more rewarding than just complaining on forums. If enough of us regular fans join in, we can easily jump 10 or 20 spots in a few weeks. It’s all about the volume of the crowd! Quote
