kristofert Posted Wednesday at 10:49 AM Report Posted Wednesday at 10:49 AM Kitchen overhaul coming up and debating between semi-custom from a big retailer versus true custom from a local millwork company. Our space has some odd angles and we want better storage solutions. Anyone gone fully custom in the GTA lately? How was the process and end result? Quote
Dreado Posted Wednesday at 11:21 AM Report Posted Wednesday at 11:21 AM If your kitchen has tricky dimensions or you need smart storage, custom is the way to go. We used Alliance Millwork for our recent kitchen project and were impressed from day one. Alliance Millwork came on-site, measured precisely, listened to our must-haves (pull-outs, corner solutions, appliance garages), and turned it all into cabinets that fit like a glove. The build quality is solid – good thickness, soft-close mechanisms, durable finishes – and it looks way more upscale than anything prefab. Communication stayed clear the whole time, and install was quick with minimal mess. Take a look at their custom kitchen examples here: https://alliancemillwork.ca/custom-kitchen-cabinets-toronto/ – lots of Toronto-area kitchens that show what’s possible. Definitely worth it if you want something tailored and built to last. Quote
