How to choose the best photographer?

Not long ago, I promised my friend I’d find the best photographer for their couple’s pre-wedding photo shoot in Orlando, but I’m having some trouble with that right now, I’m looking for photographers whose portfolios have a very cinematic and emotional feel. Maybe some of you have already booked a session like this? What would you recommend?

I’d like to add my question to this thread, would this style work for an anniversary photo shoot? My husband and I live in Orlando, and this is our 5th anniversary, we’re not professional models and usually feel very awkward in front of the camera, so we’d like something cinematic but relaxed. I’d also love to hear any recommendations from photographers
