How do you handle cold calling?

Guys, how do you handle cold calling? I’ve been sitting here for three days now, manually dialing through my contact list—it’s driving me crazy and wasting my time. I want automation, but not the kind where the system acts like a robot and throws the agent into a conversation on the spot. I need to see who I’m talking to first so I can prepare and not spout nonsense. Does anyone use anything decent for this?

They have the Preview Dialer—you see info about the person, you can quickly figure out who they are and what they need, and only then do you hit “call.” Not that crazy predictive thing where it throws you into a conversation like you’re jumping into cold water. It really worked for me in sales, especially when the lead pool isn’t completely cold but has already been warmed up a bit. Give it a try—everything is laid out clearly there.
