Lemmih
I've created a free site for practicing Chinese (reading only). It is like a normal flash card app except it always shows you how a given word is used in a sentence. The example sentences are selected based on what you know; that way, as you learn new words, you will be exposed to new sentences even during review. The decks are arranged into courses that teach just the required vocabulary to read a short story. The point is to read as much as possible while studying as few flash cards as possible. For example, only 242 words are required to read The Little Red Riding Hood in Chinese. Shorter stories require as few as 119 words.I use it for my daily practice (I'm a beginner) so hopefully some of you might find it useful as well. You don't have to register to use the site but your progress will not be saved until you do.Some technical information: It's a single page application, javascript is required. The sentences are from tatoeba.org, the dictionary is cedict, the children's stories are from all over.http://talentsrs.com/Thanks, David.
