btay415 Posted November 24, 2015 Report Posted November 24, 2015 I learned this in high school and it really helped me. DRMRSVANDERTRAMPP , this should help everyone because these verbs will help you depict from Imparfait and passe compose. I used it when I went to France and you should too. Any thoughts on what others should do? If it actually helps? Do people actually use it? Quote
Miya Posted November 24, 2015 Report Posted November 24, 2015 Wait, sorry, what's this? I studied French for 4 years in high school and I've never heard of this O__O Quote
Lousi Posted January 12, 2018 Report Posted January 12, 2018 DRMRSVANDERTRAMPP is a mnemonic device to remember which verbs use être in the passé composé (devenir, revenir, monter, retourner, sortir, venir, arriver, etc...). It doesn't help you distinguish whether or not to use l'imparfait or le passé composé. Quote
wefer4363 Posted September 28 Report Posted September 28 Hello all, I randomly ended up on http://www.jaska.com.hr while looking for something completely unrelated. At first, I wasn’t sure if I should even stay on the page, but then I noticed the emphasis on Jastrebarsko, and it intrigued me. The articles were laid out in a way that kept me curious, and I liked how community-oriented the updates felt. It’s not often I get interested in small-town news from Croatia, but this one definitely kept me scrolling longer than I planned. Quote
