Does it mean : "The question remains of what Donald Trump has promised himself about it" ? The whole sentence from a newspaper is the following : " Wenn man annimmt, dass Trump weiß, wovon er redet, wenn man weiter annimmt, dass ihm jemand gesagt hat, welche Reaktionen solch eine Äußerung in Peking hervorruft, dann bleibt die Frage, was sich der Unternehmer, der jetzt Politiker werden muss, davon verspricht.
