Lessonface.com, Inc (www.lessonface.com) is seeking professional language teachers to teach live 1:1 online and/or online group classes. Headquartered in the West Village, NYC, Lessonface connects students with great teachers for live lessons and classes online. Lessonface currently focuses on music and is now expanding to language and academic tutoring.
We’re recruiting charismatic teachers with two or more years’ professional teaching experience and a passion for teaching languages and culture. Language teachers are independent contractors who will teach live online 1:1 or live online group classes, setting their own rate and schedule.
We are currently recruiting professional language teachers for the following languages: American Sign Language, Arabic, Brazilian Portuguese, English, French, German, Hebrew, Hindi, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Latin, Mandarin, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, and Swahili. Language teachers will also have ample opportunities for professional development experience in second language acquisition and pedagogy led by the Lessonface Director of Languages.

Requirements
Passion for languages, cultures, and education
At least two years’ teaching language(s) in a professional setting (e.g. K-12, higher education, language institutes)
Professional, friendly demeanor
Ability to work well remotely
Comfortable with technology for online teaching and learning (e.g. Zoom videoconference)
Experience:
Professional Language Teaching: 2 years (Required)
Language-related degree and/or native-like speaker proficiency
