Online French study websites often have a facility for testing a student's French pronunciation. Now, I've realised that when I do an almost joke "over the top" caricature of a French accent I find that my pronunciation is always acceptable. Now, I'd be somewhat embarrassed to do such an accent in a face -to-face situation but is there something in this "over the top" approach?
