  1. I would have to say that speaking is definitely the hardest for me. It takes time to comprehend things, so when speaking I find it harder to put the words in the right order on the spot. When writing I get a bit more time to think about how things need to be said and in what order. With reading, I find it the easiest because I can see root words to remember the meanings if I forget and can take my time as needed.

  2. It is actually two words, but is commonly mistaken for a singular word. I think the confusion comes from combining some words like "everyone" and "wherever". It took me a while to realize that it didn't fall under the same rule.

  3. Thank you for sharing this! One of the best things about the internet is the amount of info. When learning a new language, you can easily find free software that can teach you. I think there are resources that are just as good as the paid versions. I appreciate that the software you linked to has an audio feature. It's hard to learn some of the words without having them said aloud to you.

  4. I was skeptical of Rosetta Stone and have never tried it. It also costs quite a bit more than I would want to spend. With the internet, there are so many free avenues available for learning a new language. Try to find something that fits your style better and maybe you'll have more luck with it.
