      1. Absolutely! I had an English teacher in secondary school who always used to say, if ever we mentioned language classes, that we should be learning our own language before we learn another one. While I don's agree with her in that we shouldn't learn other languages, I do think it's a good idea to continue to attempt to master our own language to the full.
      2. If you are new to English you should try to read the first Harry Potter novel. The first one is written for children and is relatively simple to read, but as the series goes on the language becomes more complicated, because the audience J.K. Rowling was writing for was getting steadily older.This means you can improve your English as you read through the series. Also,you may already be familiar with the story lines from the films dubbed into other languages.
      3. I would just like to share one quote which is very important to me. It is by the most famous of all English wordsmiths, William Shakespeare, and comes from his final play, The Tempest. Prospero, during one of his final monologues, says 'We are such stuff as dreams are made on.' I think this is a wonderful quote to live life by, and should inspire anyone to learn English to be able to read Shakespeare in the original.
