  1. I have used Rosetta Stone; I've simply studied ,and I've been surrounded by the language. I have found that being surrounded by the language is the best way for me to learn a language. What do you think is the most beneficial method?
  2. I am fluent in French, but I am never able to use it. What is the most useless language you've learned and do you think it was a waste of time or will pay off later?
  3. I am fluent in Spanish and French. I learned French first and realized how easy it was to learn Spanish because the construction and verb conjugations of the languages were very similar. What languages do you find most similar?
  4. I consider myself a slow reader. On average it takes me about 2 minutes to finish 1 page of a novel. I have recently started practicing "speed reading" because I have to do a lot of reading for my major and I need to train myself to read faster. I also contribute my slow reading to my eyesight, but I am determined to read faster.
