Im currently studying Russian and the alphabet looks exactly like the English alphabet and it sometimes confuses me sometimes. I just wanted to know if this is normal and if any other languages have confusing alphabets.
Personally, I think knowing another language is a sign of better intelligence because that is memorizing every word over again and some people cant even speak right now.
I dont really feel any different because the only time Im speaking another language is when I give commands to my dog. Even then I dont feel different.
I use my first language more often. Ive been learning Russian to teach my dog commands in Russian. I thought it would be cool if i was the only one in my family to get her to do tricks. But other than that I use my native tongue more often.
