  1. The idea of introducing an easy to learn worldwide language is a brilliant one in theory... In practice however no one wants to learn it unless loads of other people already have, thus they never take off
  2. I've always found writing the hardest and I think this is mainly due to grammar rules, they never quite stick in my head. When speaking slight emissions of these rules is generally acceptable and when reading they never seem to bother me, just in writing I often make mistakes.
  3. I've been planning on starting Spanish, but am really unsure as to where to start... Anyone have any suggestions?
  4. http://www.parents.com/toddlers-preschoolers/development/language/teaching-second-language/ Is an interesting article which argues the sooner the better! I only wished my parents had encouraged language lessons at a young age!
  5. It's a really neat idea! As someone who's really interested in beginning to learn Spanish I may just have to give this a go!
  6. The number one item on my bucket list is to visit every content in the world, and to this end i'm currently planning a trip to Bolivia, though this is at least a year away! I'd really love to have at least basic Spanish under my belt before I go, and was wondering if anyone with experience in learning Spanish could give me some guidance in the best way to go about learning begginer Spanish (classes/apps/etc) and roughly how long I should be thinking it will take me to grasp enough to hold my own whilst travelling
