I, too, am a native English speaker. I had only heard it a few times before the Geico commercial brought it back to life. Still wasn't sure what it meant. Glad to hear people's ideas.

Duolingo is amazing in my opinion! It's such a friendly user interface and also allows you to learn language creatively and in a fun way, too. I used to use Rosetta Stone, but it proved too expensive. I think Duolingo is a wonderful alternative... for the time being at least.

Well done! I watched the video and it's clear that you've come a long way. I started learning Spanish a few months ago... but eventually just got out of it because I didn't have the time. Thinking that I could someday be as fluent as you... really makes me want to get in to it again. Any after only seven months!

My father is Iranian and I would like to surprise him by speaking to him in Farsi the next time I visit. Are there are online resources? I've had luck with Duolingo in the past, so anything like that is even better. Zack
