  1. I, too, am a native English speaker. I had only heard it a few times before the Geico commercial brought it back to life. Still wasn't sure what it meant. Glad to hear people's ideas.
  2. Duolingo is amazing in my opinion! It's such a friendly user interface and also allows you to learn language creatively and in a fun way, too. I used to use Rosetta Stone, but it proved too expensive. I think Duolingo is a wonderful alternative... for the time being at least.
  3. Monkeys have always been my favorite animal for reasons such as this! Such brilliant creatures, and it's probably because they're so similar to us that we find them so interesting. Planet of the Apes... anyone?
  4. My name is Zack and I've always been fascinated with people who are bilingual, trilingual, etc. and I'd really like to become one of those "masters of tongues." I figured that starting with Spanish was a nice idea, so that's where I'm going now.
  5. Well done! I watched the video and it's clear that you've come a long way. I started learning Spanish a few months ago... but eventually just got out of it because I didn't have the time. Thinking that I could someday be as fluent as you... really makes me want to get in to it again. Any after only seven months!
  6. My father is Iranian and I would like to surprise him by speaking to him in Farsi the next time I visit. Are there are online resources? I've had luck with Duolingo in the past, so anything like that is even better. Zack
