      1. I would like to learn a new language for a few reasons. One being, I live with two foreign exchange students, one from France and one from Spain. I would like to learn a new language to communicate better with them and others in the future. Another reason would have to be that there might be a better paying career to some that can speak more than one language. I love to travel also so having a few languages in my back pocket would help me greatly to communicate with the people in that area.
      2. :amazed: To me that is pretty cool but hard to believe. I can see someone forgetting some words but not every word they learned from the time they first spoke. Being away in another country using a different language and rarely or never using your native language for a long time probably could lead to forgetting your native language. I guess if I ever did such a thing I would try to practice my English while I could to make sure I didn't lose it. That is very interesting. I will have to do some more research into that.
