That is really hilarious. I really like it. Honestly, unless you have been learning english for many years, it's very hard to get rid of an accent. And even if you learn english for a long time, you may still have an accent. It's different with everybody. Some people who have been, say speaking a language for many years and will still be unable to pronounce some words incorrectly just because of the way they speak.

Language apps are there to help you. You won't use a language app and be extremely fluent at the language even if you consistently use it. Practice makes perfect, and applying what you have used is extremely useful. That goes for all languages. You can learn the basic vocabulary and expressions, and the more you use it, the more familiar you will be with it.

Uh... how does this relate to language learning? It looks pretty cool, what code did you use to code the game? Anyways, those picture look really nice. It reminds me of Super Mario 3D World or something Unfortunately I don't have a 3DS, but I'd love to see some actual video gameplay of this

I think Google Translator is getting better. It still won't translate things completely, it won't translate essays completely, however I personally still believe that if you need to translate a phrase, it does a fairly good job at doing it. It also can't handle anything too complex. If you throw an advanced phrase or slang at it it most likely won't translate. Another thing about it is the auto detect language. Many times I've used this and it will detect some weird language (for example, I tried to translate something from French to English and it told me I was speaking in Zulu or some other weird language) However, aside from those weird moments it does fairly decent translations.

The translation tool on Facebook is powered by Bing if I remember correctly. If you use it, sometimes there will be some funny results, since Bing's translator isn't any good at all. It also offered automated translations which were also pretty mediocre at best, since the problem was that it detected certain languages and it often detected the wrong language, or it translated it poorly. Anyways, don't use Facebook Translate. It's pretty crappy and doesn't do a lot. If you want, just get someone on the forums here to translate it, or maybe put it into Google Translate if you want a rough idea of what they're saying.

I've heard of quite a couple of language apps, however a spanish teacher friend of mine recommended that if you wanted to learn spanish independently, you should use duolingo. I tried learning french with duolingo (I know a bit of french so it was easy to get started), and it seemed pretty good. It offers quite a few languages and you can level up as you progress. They also offer cool incentives such as cool avatars and the like. Is it any good for spanish or other language learning however?
