  1. Hi guys! My name is Emily, and I help translate health questions and answers into Spanish and Chinese for HealthTap. HealthTap is the leader in telehealth where doctors across 130 specialties can answer any health question for free and provide virtual consults 24/7 through our premium services. We are proud to announce that we have just launched HealthTap Translations, which will now allow people everywhere in the world access important information about their health online - no matter what language they speak! We are currently looking for volunteers to help us translate our library of doctor curated health questions and answers into different languages. This is a great way to practice medical terminology as well as gain exposure and experience in the translation space, as we’ve received high praise from Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Forbes, Fortune, and CNN. Most importantly, as a HealthTap Translator, you will spread health and wellness ideas to millions of users internationally each day. To sign up, please click here: https://www.healthtap.com/translate For any questions, feel free to email: [email protected]
  2. Hi, Has anyone experienced learning a language by reading bilingual stories? What kind of books would you recommend for children to learn a language?
  3. Glassbow makes bilingual editions of the classics (Pride and Prejudice, Peter Pan, The Prince, etc.), the collection of all 36 books is on sale for $9 this week, usually $29. There's new releases every other month which are included for all "collection" purchases. Of course you can get the books for free in English, but these come with a translated edition built in paragraph-by-paragraph. Not a bad deal for $9. www.glassbow.com/collection Sorry if this is wrong forum, I'm new. Please move if so!
  4. Hey everybody, Some friends and I have started a bilingual literary magazine in Madrid. We have launched a kickstarter as a pre-order before we publish our first volume that we'll send out all over the world. Have a look and please share with your friends. Thanks. ¡Hola! Unos amigos y yo hemos formado una revista literaria bilingüe en Madrid. Hemos lanzado nuestro Kickstarter para pedir antes de publicar el primer volumen que mandaremos a todos los lados del mundo. Echa un ojo y compartelo con tus amigos. Gracias. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1297351223/fron-tera-bilingual-literary-magazine-revista-lite?ref=category
  5. My partner and I both speak English and Italian at home. Our son is now 18 months old and is making great progress and already recognise and use many words, but he clearly seems to favour English as I language. I realise he's very young, and anyway that's fine since we live in a English speaking country, but I'd love for him to know Italian and much as English one day. I read every book and article I could find on the subject, but I wonder if anyone had any first hand experience to share. What worked for you? What didn't?
