Baburra Posted November 6, 2013 Report Share Posted November 6, 2013 I've been in many discussions, especially online, wherein I mistakenly used a slightly off word and could have been better off had I used the right one. One of the instances I remember was using the word "logical" in place of "rational", which are similar, but in some ways totally different. As the discussion progressed, I'd found that we weren't getting anywhere because I was using the wrong word, albeit being similar in meaning, and I had to reset the whole discussion to rephrase my question. Do you guys have any examples of easily interchangeable words like these? I'd love to be reminded of some of them. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
