AlexRom12 Posted September 30 Report Posted September 30 Which floor lamp would you recommend for reading: one with directional light or one with diffused light that creates general soft lighting? Quote
DimaSirko Posted September 30 Report Posted September 30 I like to read in the evenings, but a desk lamp is often blinding, and the ambient light is too harsh. When I was visiting some friends, I noticed they had a floor lamp, and the atmosphere immediately seemed calmer. I searched online for similar options and found a very interesting website https://victoriayakusha.com/collections/floor-lamps . The floor lamps there seem to be designed not just to provide light, but to create a cozy nook where you can enjoy spending time. Quote
AlexRom12 Posted October 1 Author Report Posted October 1 That’s exactly how I feel too. I also read a lot in the evenings, and the right light makes all the difference. I didn’t realize how much calmer a room can feel with a floor lamp until I tried one myself. Now I can’t imagine my living room without it. Quote
