best places to start learning Khmer

I love to be able to speak Khmer, especially that I want to go to Cambodia,  but I am not sure where to start and how,

This is the first time I'm hearing of khmer too. Interesting. I'm assuming it's spoken in Cambodia. Is it spoken anywhere else?
