I am trying to track my reading habits better this year. I have been using a simple notebook, but I want something more digital that shows me stats like my reading speed and how many pages I have left. I saw the Bookly app and it looks cool, but I am not sure if I will actually use it. Does anyone here use it? Is it actually helpful for reading more?

I used Bookly for a few months to try and gamify my reading. It is cool to see the timers and the stats, but after a while, it felt a bit like a chore to "check-in" every time I opened a book. I actually switched to just using the Headway app because it tracks everything automatically as you read or listen to summaries. If you want a more "hardcore" tracker for physical books, there is a practical take on Bookly that you should read before buying. Personally, I think the best "tracker" is just the one you will actually use. If the stats motivate you, Bookly is great. If they stress you out, maybe just stick to a simple list on your phone or use a summary app to keep the momentum going!
