Step 1: Complete Weekly Moments
Start with Moments in each Drop. They’re the fastest way to earn Stars.

Standard Moments: Each Drop usually has 3–5 moments giving 5 Stars each. In Drop 5, don’t miss “Rice Cooker” and “Shea It Loud.”
Extreme Moment (Optional): Drop 5 has a massive challenge—score 10 runs in a single inning. Completing it instantly gives 35 Stars, more than a third of the program in one go. If you have the skill, this shortcut saves tons of grind time.
Step 2: Grind Program Missions
After Moments, focus on Missions to stack progress. Offline modes like Mini Seasons or Conquest let you tackle multiple objectives at once.

Key Missions:

Parallel XP (PXP):
10,000 PXP with any players → 20 Stars
2,500 PXP specifically with Spotlight or Topps Now players → 20 Stars
Stat Challenges:
Hits: 20 hits with primary position Infielders (C, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS)
Total Bases: 30 total bases with primary Outfielders (LF, CF, RF)
Innings Pitched: 15 innings with any pitchers
Strikeouts: 12 strikeouts with Relievers or Closers
Tip: Plan your lineup to hit multiple missions at once—using Spotlight players in Mini Seasons can double-dip your PXP and stat challenges.

Step 3: Collect Lightning Rewards
Once you earn Stars, it’s time to grab the rewards. Add them to your Collections to track your progress.

April Lightning: Complete all five April Spotlight Drops to unlock Elly De La Cruz (SS, 94 OVR).
Retro Lightning: Collect 16 specific Spotlight cards from Drops and programs to unlock Chipper Jones (3B, 93 OVR).
