russellwalker Posted May 8 Report Posted May 8 CEH v13 (Certified Ethical Hacker v13) Exam is not the kind of exam you can clear anymore by memorizing tool names for a week and hoping for repeated questions. I have been reading recent discussions from candidates and one pattern is obvious. people who treated this exam like the old CEH are struggling badly. The Certified Ethical Hacker v13 questions are becoming more scenario focused and the exam expects you to understand why an attack works, not just what the tool is called. A lot of candidates underestimate the wording of the questions. You might know Nmap, Metasploit, or Wireshark, but the exam now pushes you into situations where you have to decide the next action, identify the real risk or understand how an attacker would actually think during enumeration or exploitation. Another mistake I keep seeing is people trying to consume every resource possible. CEH v13 exam already has a massive syllabus with cloud, AI, malware, reconnaissance, web security, and modern attack techniques. If your preparation is scattered, you will feel overwhelmed very quickly. My advice is simple: stop studying passively. Build a habit of solving realistic questions daily and focus on understanding the logic behind each answer. That is where most candidates fail. And honestly, having updated practice exams matters more now than before because the question style has clearly changed. I have seen many candidates use Pass4Success v13 practice exam to get comfortable with the newer CEH v13 pattern and improve their confidence before the actual exam. Quote
