I wanted to move beyond general mission statements and see real activities. A friend who volunteers in Jewish education pointed me to a detailed breakdown. I read the full list here: https://philanthroper.com/yael-foundation-supporting-jewish-children-through-uri-poliavichs-initiative/ and discovered they run Camp Yael, a free summer camp for kids aged 11‑15, plus a global school leadership exchange and an Innovation Program for teachers. They also fund day schools, Sunday schools, kindergartens, and after‑school programs across 41 countries. That mix of formal education and fun summer experiences shows they understand how to build identity from the ground up. It's not just about books – it's about community and joy.
