stygium
Hello everyone. I am a non-native learner of English and I need help. I have a slight difficulty in writing and find it really hard to speak in English. I am trying to improve the latter by having oral conversations in English but I do not have someone who I can practice with. I need some advice. Thank you. What I usually did when I wanted to practice my English was to go to the touristy areas of my city and just started talking to foreigners who didn't look like they were in any hurry. Or, if you're more shy, you can maybe look around the forum and ask people here directly for help. I've been here for a short while and everyone's really friendly. Baburra
You could try finding someone to skype with, and if you find someone willing to do it in exchange for teaching your own language then that would be a huge plus. The only problem is that most people you'd find probably are in a different time zone so you'd have to work around that but I think it's worth it since just having these types of conversations can make you feel a lot more comfortable speaking a foreign language. I am willing to teach my language to anyone via Skype.

sidney
Your grammar seems fine to me. And since you are from the Philippines, we are from the same country. You can find a lot of people here who are fluent in English in no time. Don't you have friends who excel in English in school or in your office? If you are still studying, then of course the students who have high grades in English are the ones you should ask help from.
