As a young child I couldn't speak English and only spoke Cantonese but sadly, I have pretty much lost it now. I am learning Mandarin with a private tutor every week now. It's lucky she only lives a few minutes from my home. My wife is Chinese Indonesian who speaks fluent Mandarin so I am trying to speak more Mandarin at home instead of English or Indonesian. I have only recently started studying Brazilian Portuguese too as I have a few close Brazilian friends and it would be nice to communicate with them in their language. Thanks for reading!
