English is my native language and I love everything about learning more about words, grammar, and the mechanics of writing and speaking. I have taken classes in Spanish and French. I would like to expand myself more and learn how to master these languages as I have English. I find that it is hard to learn other languages being a native English speaker. In English we have so many exceptions to rules and so many borrowed words that it can feel like the language is a bit of a mess sometimes. I think that this makes it harder to learn more structured languages, but I'm not giving up on trying. Quote
