Lousi Posted January 12, 2018 Report Posted January 12, 2018 "Tu n'as aucune erreur!" Is this considered a negative sentence or a "phrase affirmative"? I consider it a negative sentence, grammatically speaking. It contains "ne .. aucun". The "phrase affirmative" would be "Tu as des erreurs". Am I correct to assume it's a negative sentence despite the meaning being a positive one? Merci! Quote
Filiger Posted January 12, 2018 Report Posted January 12, 2018 Hello Lousi ! Yes you are right : this is a negative sentence ! Indeed the structure is a negation : "ne ... aucune" although the meaning is positive.
