queenbecka Posted October 1, 2013 Report Share Posted October 1, 2013 I just wanted to say hello and to introduce myself.I am 2nd generation American-Ukrainian. I spoke Ukrainian fluently to the age of 3, then completely stopped once I started Pre-K.Now that I have three kids of my own, I have been actively engaging them in learning Ukrainian and Spanish on a daily basis. I am trying to learn alongside them since I am unable to speak or understand much Ukrainian. I find it easy when I see photos, but hearing words without visual aids completely stumps me.I am excited to be here and discover better ways of being successful in achieving fluency.
