  1. Hi, With the help of some people, I have created some quizzes based on Eiji Yoshikawa's texts. Attached is a screenshot of the top part of today's email. If you're interested, you can leave your email at https://quiz.yomi.ai and I'll send you daily quizzes for about two weeks.
  2. I don't see how that would go against community guidelines and I feel that would also be a great contribution to the community. Looking forward to reading it.
  3. Hola Ana. Gracias y encantada.
  4. I've been living in the US for 8 years now. At this point I am way more comfortable communicating in English compared to my mother tongue. LOL
  5. I like the article posted. Thank you for that. To a boss, I would not order, even politely, to do anything. A better way might be simply saying 明日も宜しくお願いします (ashita mo yoroshiku onegai shimasu). お休みなさい is really more of a set phrase that I would not consider overly polite.
  6. I really like 鬼滅の刃. I haven't made it past the anime yet, but I am looking forward to see what's in store for these interesting characters.
  8. Hi Siham. That is quite an impressive list of languages. I would love to learn Arabic. It's such an interesting language with so many variations. What dialect of Chinese are you learning?
  9. I had about four years of Italian language education during my younger years. Due to taking part in a student exchange program with students in Padua, I still know how to swear a bit and am able to order a pizza. That's about it. I admire your goal to be a polyglot. I'm working to that goal as well. I only got an AA in Japanese though and got my BA (and work towards a Masters) in a totally different field though -- primarily due to economic reasons. Good luck on your studies. Hope you'll have a real commencement.
  10. Hello there! Nice to meet you all. I'm Matthias, born and raised in Germany, now living in Los Angeles. I'm the founder of Yomi.ai, a service aimed at intermediate to advanced-level Japanese-learners to provide authentic Japanese texts to improve their reading skills. Post-Corona, whenever that is, I hope to get back to 柔術. I am also currently working on my Master of Dispute Resolution and volunteer my time to work on mitigating social issues. Looking to learn from y'all.
