Lonliness is close to WANTING to be with other people. Solitude just means you are alone, you can be happy or sad that you are alone. Lonliness is a very negative word. Solitude can be positive or negative! Hope this helped!

I would say yes, as long as it is not too hard for you. A good option is listening with subtitles and then listening again without them. -
I think a small amount of study is necessary to understand basic grammar. However, I think the majority of learning can come from things like YouTube, Movies, or TV.
